Default Video Games Live - Geek or Chic?

http://www.videogameslive.com

OK ... the basic premise for those of you who don't like going to the links is this ... Tommy T, host of Judgmenent Day and the Electric Playground, who is himself a VERY good video game composer ... decided to arrange for a live rendition of several video game scores ... Mario, Zelda, Halo, Sonic, the Tom Clancy games ...

I've heard about this previously but I just picked up the most recent PCGamer, and there's a two page ad in there for this. They've announced my town, however it looks like they've had to reschedule it ...

I personally have several bits of video game theme music in my MP3 collection, and I always get a bit of a shiver whenever I hear the Halo theme. So my question to the posters of this thread are ...

Would you go to see this live? Would you buy an album based off this? Or, would you drop this into the ultra-geek bin?
